Due to popular request and some inspirational words by other Deviants I decided to upload some of my recent Lamb of God photos. I hope everyone enjoys Lamb of God and all the other artists I have had the opportunity to photograph.
While your looking let me know what you think. I want to know why you've made it a favorite not just that it is a favorite. I am looking to determine what the fans and other artists like and want from their band photos. Is it just that they are a favorite band or do you like the way the shot was framed, or both?
I have no formal education in photography or any arts, but I have a love. I don't do much post production work to my photos. I like to say that it is because I want the viewer to feel like they where there at the show, seeing, feeling and hearing them - and this is true, I want all these things. However, to be honest its more likely that I am just not familiar with post production as I am with photography.
What I need to know if my shots are still making the cut, are they up to par and what could make them better?
Do you have any light settings that you think would work in low light changing situations?
What do you think of clear light filters that cover your lens? Does it adversely affect the clearity of the shot? Have you had damage occur to your lens for not having a filter on it?
As always I am interested photo passes (+ 1) in any shows and venues that may be happening in the NYC area. I shoot live music, while most of what I have shot is metal I am interested in so much more than just metal. If you think you can help me out with photo pass (+1) tickets - then hook me up!

Are you a Killswitch Engage fan too? Cuz I should have those coming in the near future.
I am very lucky to have had the opportunities to take photos of these really fantastic bands. They have so much to offer the camera that sometimes it feels too easy to get great pictures. Then of course you realize that you took 400 shots and only liked 15 of them.

I only have access to picasa most of the time so my creation process was very limited. I think I am going to have to keep trying until I find something I really like.
thanks for thinking of me.
